Think of Melissa -- March 11, 1984 to September 22, 2002
Who is Melissa?

On March 11, 1984, we were blessed with the birth of Melissa, the youngest of seven children. With her incredible love for life, eyes that would light up a room, and a smile that was willing to be shared, she won our hearts.

Melissa's love of life took her many places, whether it was pitching for the All Star softball team, snow-machining in the hills, or being part of Pier One Theatre's productions. Her love of fun brought her friends and family many wonderful opportunities to share in her life.

After graduation in May of 2002 Melissa was eager to start a new chapter of her life. Working for both Pier One Theatre and Helly Hanson, Melissa found that her path was taking her away from Homer. Her love of life showed as she talked about new opportunities, new places, and a new love.

Melissa was taken from us only a few days after starting that new chapter. She is now gone form this earth but will be forever in our hearts and memories. We were all so privileged to have her in our lives and to be touched by her spirit.

Melissa, we all love you. You will be forever missed.
